I thought this is the thread for discussion d?

Anyway, did you get your Luke from Sinamex?

Tried it sometime ago, great feel!

I think this guitar touches many hands. Mine included......

leecs: I actually prefer the V-shaped Luke to silos... Chunkier feeling... Almost like a LP...

savedbygrace: yup, the Luke is a totally awesome guitar, my friend loved playing it (that guy in the picture), he hates EMGs, but the neck pickup was really nice, but the bridge is kinda disappointing to him as he wanted an SSS guitar... Still trying to get him to get an EBMM though... Recently got two friends converted to the JP6! One of my friend is this lovely young lady (well, older than me lar... but you get the picture :p)

Rossie, intro your friend to me leh... we can shred together!

savedbygrace: come to think about it... Yeah, they don't bring them in! I'll ask Simon next time I'm there...
You play guitar in church?

I bought my BFR from Sinamex... And my other friend got his Lava Pearl from Sinamex too... The Radience Red JP player, it was used, but originally bought from Sinamex too... lol... Anyway, ripper, I did refer them to you first! But they wanted to go through the official dealer in the end... Sorry, but I did try to divert them to you...

Whitey: my that friend (red luke) now is looking at an Axis... From the looks of it, he kinda likes it... Just wait and see...

Yeah, my friend (red JP) is pretty petite... It's the D-sonic one... With the compensated nut and stuff...

Ah... Now I see why they didn't bring in those... Anyway, I'll pester them to bring some more in... My pestering did help for them getting a second BFR :D But unfortunately, alot of ppl ask, but no one buy... So sad to let it hang there :'( lol

leecs: she plays jazz la... Shes doesn't really like metal... lol... How to jam together?

Anyway...
Guys, just got news...
I brought my guitar to CK Music last week, City Music's branch in KL... And let Jaya played my BFR... He's one hell of a guitarist, preparing a tour in August, money no problem coz have a big Datuk sponsering all his equipment... His amp confirm is a Mesa Boogie Road King Series II (the Datuk has 4 of them... -_-), clean channel played through a 2 x 12 Mesa cab, and the dirty channel played through a 4 x 12 Rectifier Cab... Only thing left is his choice of guitar... He was still thinking of getting what guitar though, and was thinking the Steve Morse model...
After playing mine, he was just floored by the quality of my BFR... He's now getting a BFR JP and BFR Luke to tour with him :D

So far, 4 souls have been saved! :D

Haha... Her's is those clean sound kinda jazz one wor... That's why she chose the JP, because of the piezo...

can la! no problem. i don need piezo. i just split the coils can already.

BTW, your friend got lucky, whom was sponsered by a Datuk........ That datuk can play 1 or not, or just collector? If collector, then sayang la.

Its alright my fren. Thanks for referring them to me. & no sorry needed here. They should buy from the authorised dealer. I has always wanted to buy from the authorised dealer myself too, who dont? But since buying my 1st EBMM - Y2D, from my own source, there is no turning back. Look at what I have now - Y2D, AL, Silo Spec Blue Dawn Sparkle, all purchased NEW. Whats best among all? My source is even able to score me a discontinued sparkle.

I am actually thinking of booking a venue for a Ball's fans gathering and also to display all my EBMMs so people can even look at how the sparkles look like (a "see-no-touch" event), this may help to reinstate potential buyer's confidence to buy guitars like the Blue Dawn. hmmm not a bad idea right?

Eh... the white Silo how??? I very gianz... how muchie????

sure or not?????

You have to have played the 20th to know where I'm coming from man... Tone knob dialed down slightly on either pickup on a clean sound, and you get this totally SWEET lead tone which is delicate, clear and airy. It's something the JP6 cannot deliver.

Don't forget, I have both and can offer a good comparison...
