A short review on my BFR JP...
Didn't really notice much of a difference when I first plugged in, but after some records my band made with this guitar, I found that it is much much much clearer while playing chords with distortion, the notes articulate much better instead of mudding together. I just love playing big chords with this, it just sounds so good! I wonder whether its the wood or the pickups alone, kinda curious whether the D-sonic will sound the same on other guitars.
It has huge sustain and the high notes are very sweet sounding. It has more mid range in the sound, cutting the mix shouldn't be a problem.
Love the neck too, I don't mind whether the neck's unfinished or finished, it just feels great! The fret-spacing is alittle wider than my RG, but this is a plus point for me when playing in the higher registers, I have more room for my fingers!
Lastly, the piezo totally rocks! It sounds so beautiful directly through a PA.

yOU got a point there too. Too many guitars, no good amp, also no use.
So far only got one BFR with gold hardware that exists.. check out Petrucci's rig.

Any brand. Any guitar brand I meant. Why? Bcos dealers are bound by MM's dealership agreement lah.
Anyway, you can bring in other brand on your own. Ishibashi, ebay, or buy from our dealers here -cheaper, and got warranty.

Ya purple is power! But if you intend do keep it for long, must know they way the top absorb the dye so the color wont look "faded" through the years..
