The Bassist's Effects Line Up

Hi shinobo, basically I use the sub as a clean booster and a tone shaper during different parts of a song rather than a preamp. The M80 works well enough as my preamp. Although it has only a single tone knob, only a little adjustment and you can tell the variations of the tone change. Very useful pedal imo. A huge range of tones to play around with. From warm smoothing bass tone to bright p-bass kinda twang. And for the price...an excellent purchase, well worth.

the prices of electronix stuff makes them very attractive indeed...

you will prob have to go to sim lim tower to get them man

To Jbarker: The Diamond is extremely quiet, there's no detectable noise even with my earphones on. A plus on the EQ sweep knob which does wonders, note the tilt can be disabled via a toggle on the back of the unit. Transparent and allows enough headroom on a 9v for my Sterling. This pedal is great for smoothing the sound or you could use it as a cleen boost and tone shaper.

I've read reviews on the low frequency suck and emailed Diamond, basically for a 4stringer, the present compressor will do great but for a 5/6 stringer, perhaps a wait for the bass compressor will be wiser.

By far the neatest compressor I've tried though I've yet to take on the Demeter.
I see... how is the action on the compressor e.g. is it a smoothening compressor for fingerstyle jazz or will it let your attacks through? Will probably wait for the bass comp so I can use it on my fiver :)

not to busy at work to be snooping around talkbass i see

i've only got 1 thing on my mind, the ehx XO BMS. and maybe the ehx XO worm. that's 2 things
