i wish someone would post a GOOD DEMO of the el grande... i've all but lost my GAS for the blogger and bass muff pi. and i dont intend on getting something boutique. so the el grande is high on my list...

bro 5Stringwonder, the reverberator ..... how is it man?, was thinking of ordering one in. looks like a hell of a board. doin a small pedalboard for my bass now, but your board is giving me chills bro

yeah waiting for the bass big muff as well :(

Pedal-itis : Thanks Bro, I'm liking the RRR quite a bit. It's got some nice reverb settings. (Sorry not too great at describing these things) Haven't really used any others so I can't really give any comparisons. Definitely worth a serious look at.

ok..let's see if I can remember how it goes...

Maxon AF-9 - Malekko B:Assmaster - Polish Love OD - Maxon FL-9 - Subdecay Quasar - Analog.man Clone Chorus - Dr Scientist Radical Red Reverberator - MXR Carbon Copy - Korg Pitchblack

Set-up is probably temporary. I'm looking to add a Barber Linden EQ and a tremolo pedal (possibly a Dr Scientist Tremolessence if I can find one at a good price) so some pedals would have to leave the board. Likely to be either the FL-9 or the Quasar, or maybe both...

Thanks for the breakdown.. just another question, with yr current setup, if you have a preamp, will u be putting it on the first of the chain or last?

Regards.

Not using a preamp currently. Used to used the Bassbone as a preamp with all my effects in its loop. The Linden should work well as a tone-shaper from what I read. I'm intending to have it a the end of my chain.

one thing i don't like about the linden is that there's no mid control? otherwise it would be high on my shortlist

5sw= do u use the assmaster and the polish od at the same time?

davis sold out on EBS Microbass II. so i get a limiter/eq and a Hematoma instead. why i do that? dun ask me ;pp impulse buying and so far so good.

>Polish Love Pedal > Hematoma > Harke Bass Attack > Limited/Enhancer > EQ > B2.1u

shinobi : don't use them together. way too much gain if they are stacked. they are pretty intense pedals on their own.

lordie : how's the Hematoma? It's one of those that I've been meaning to try. Dig the clips that I've heard on Talkbass.

man, i would love to try the assmaster.

i still stack my drive section now, but just in case. not for fuzz madness but just to literally clip through. i'm running a karaoke party into an el grande, though the el grande can stand on its own. previously i did an english muffn into the KP.

but enough about me, i tried the hematoma once and i loved it. you have to try it. but nowadays i'm digging more synth-like gated tones

Hmm...need to look out for a Hematoma now..Damn GAS. Tried the Mammoth yet? Should be able to get you the gated synth sounds that you are looking for.

i'm loving the hemotoma, sits well with the band i am playing with and its always on all the time. got a show this weekend and see how that works live. the hematoma could be a keeper.
