I like it a lot. Doesn't colour your tone like the sansamp & m-80. Has a built in effect loop w/boost. Dual channel input/eq for use with 2 Basses / 2 different sounds.
Only issue I have is the weird power requirement (15VDC centre positive) so you won't be able to use batteries with this one.
Killer DI like all other Radial DIs. It's as it's touted a " Bass Control Centre".
The only other preamp/DI that may come close is EBS Microbass.

here's mine updated!
+100 on the Bassbone, I have one on my board. Think transparent glass - the bass sound is so clear and clean. The two inputs/channels are awesome, and who can't use an effects loop. It's a great product for those who use even half of its features.
Interestingly, I use the Sansamp as a stompbox rather than a DI =)

yup it can, tracking is a bit crap when u go below 5th frets.
it has 4 diff voicings:
sub octave: octave down
guitar: clean
octave: oct up
square wave: fuzz
the fuzz is wayyyy powerful. so the nice thing abt it is that you can mix and match to get your desired tone. so many sliders! but finding what u want is like inventing a lightbulb, 99 attempts before getting it right.

For the Bassbone? Paid around S$380 I think. But that was a couple of years back. Not sure if the price has gone up...or down

Go for either a Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus or a Boss CE-2B. Cheap and rocking chorus pedals.
