are MIJs made with 3-bolt necks as standard? very strange because while other manufacturers are making them with more than 4, 3 is a bit suprising

This one does... there's a reason why the XX-90US series cost more than your standard Fender Japan Blocks, binding, matching headstock and 3-bolt neckplate usually only appear on MIA basses

ROFL... i think the infra-red strings will never work tho. Your finger cant "pluck" the infra-red light, only block it.
