on the whole the white sounds more aggressive cos the strings are new. not to mention the brass nut.

it has the thicker "A" neck and seems heavier than the black one.

need to check pup spacing too.
 
Glad you like it! I have one on my Squier now and it's opened the tonal range up to a whole new world!! The bass sounded great passive, but now with the EQ flat, the bass sounds incredible!
 
i will when i go find out how to plug my bass into my com... time to do some googling

and the audere is superb for passive basses. after fitting it in you'll just be driven insane by the tonal options you get. btw, mine was passive :D
 
The Audere was designed specifically for use with passive pickups, and to give die-hard passive players an active option that doesn't stray very far from the passive tone.
