The Bass Picture Gallery

ah .. kingston series ...

the placement of the knobs annoyed me greatly .. tried the Zephyr 5 before ... nice slap sound .. but the B string was WEAK.

Nice action and neck feel ... but all because of the B string it turned me off ...

i haven't tried their american basses though .. i wonder if anyone in Singapore has one ... man .. that'll be quite a GAS ...

Rottenramone is a certified and leading expert on Yellow basses :D

The EBS multicomp may be nice and all, but its considered subtle as a compressor. I'm looking at you asking to replace your Dynacomp, which is known for its extreme 'squishy-ness'. I don't really have an answer, but I'd still recommend the BBE Opto Stomp and Aphex Punch Factory since they are cheaper and do pretty much the same thing as the EBS.

thanks for the info 3notes ..

reyrey: haven't tried the kingston before .. i should you know .. hahah .. i think the finish of the zephyr basses are okay, not fantastic but the burl maple top kinda drew me to it .. hahaha .. it was a nice yellowish-orangey satin finish ..

that's great man .. good to know you have a good bass .. post some clips of it recording soon .. =)

The Tokai Hard Puncher looks very very sweet! Tried out out at Penin, absolutely blown away by it's grind and of course , Punch .
