But I am aware that many people mispronounce it as Eh-Li-Sah-Na.

Alesana is a really great band. I especially like their songs Apology and Ambrosia. However there are also some other bands that are truly epic . My personal favourites are Hopes Die Last, A Skylit Dive and Emarosa. Check out these songs.
