That pedal you wish you never had splashed your money on.

hartke bass attack

i can't get anything out of it that feels like it's worth the money =\

dunlop zw wah. i really really hate it, words cant describle it for pp intending to buy i suggest u try it out first, dont make a mistake like me,i bought it without testing.

Interesting...........if some of u guys remember, i used 2 have a lot of pedals. Sold them off due to financial crisis though.................but 1 pedal i won't miss(definitely) is 1 unbranded pedal from the US i used 2 own. There was so much hype over it in a US Forum so, being naive, i bought 1 for a friggin' $120! Wasted i tell u. I kept it only as a reminder never to buy things on impulse. Sold it off last yr 2 some American youth. Hope he realises it isn't as gd as it seems. I see a lot of Line 6 stuff here. Hmmmm............zerosoul was right, i love my PodXT Live to bits, gives me all the tones i will ever need. I dun feel the loss of my pedals so bad now.

interesting guys.. haha i actually bought and sold like tons of pedal before finally finding the tone that i really like..

obviously it cost like a bomb and a heartache if you add up all the wasted money from secondhand sales.

tonebone hot british. overpriced substandard metalzone, buzzy crap that fizzed out on anything more than single string riffs. i took the biggest loss on any piece of gear ever when selling it off.

to TS-9 dissenters/ future indulgers: do try this pedal before you part with your hard-earned cash.

many are deceived by the mere name: it doesn't scream if you do not have a complementary use for it...

Boss ME50, Boss MIJ Bf2, Deucetone Rat.

Me50 is a total piece of CRAP.

BF2 is rarely used.

Rat is rarely used after i got my JNH

Vestax Digital Delay with Modulation, don't really know how the hell do I apply the effects to songs.

hey interesting thread here... sorry but i wanna ask something, hope u all wont mind...
actually.. i really wanna know if there are multi-effects around, why does everyone want to go for those single effects that cost 100+ each? like someone said his podXTlive is enough..

i'm currently using the korg1500 now... its pretty neat, easy to use and has recording, etc. and yet i feel its so much more worth then 3 kinds of pedals, or some modded boss DS... as i never used any of those pedals before, i dont really know whats the difference..

yup would like to have some advice on this.. thank you:)

Ah ha! Many ppl do not like multi-efx bcos they 'sound sterile', 'do not have the correct tone', and most of all, 'sound too digital', and so on. I've heard many of these complaints on forums overseas as well as locally and i really shak my head at this. If u take a gd multi-efx and if u can spare some time tweaking, then u may actually sound better than analog pedals. In any case, i'd bet most of these ppl can't tell the difference in a blindfold test. Ultimately, it's really up 2 personal preference. Get wat u deem better for the money.

on the point of multi effects. It is true that with proper tweaking. ive heard AX1500G that kicked ass... i used to own a pod2.0 with the floorboard. it was awesome as well.. problem is i never fully used all th functions and features.

now im working and i have a more specific idea of what i want. i buy specific pedals... i prfer the analog sound. And im pretty sure i can pass a blind test in the digital dist vs analog dist department... because that is where digital begins to lose out.

Based on pure functionality and practicality... digital is really the way to go.

But its like watches .. CASIO can make a watch 10x more accurate and 100x cheaper in 1% of the time. But IWC will forever be held in higher regard.

for me multi effects never seemed to cut it for me. it was never full enough for me.
and the thing about multi effect is that after sometime it becomes boring.

so its analogs for me

i see... i guess i really have to check out analog for myself to see if its rly my time of effects.. meanwhile i shall try to see if there are ways a korg1500 can rly kick ass...hahahah yep thanks all of u:)

i honestly nvr ever dared to invest in multieffects or any digital drive pedals.. tried my friends zoom, the techno like effects were cool but the volume cut was obscene, and the original tone of the guitar was unrecognisable, likes u cudnt even tell u were playing it althought it was right in front of u...

then heard a tonelab se, qutie impressed by the options, delay sounded a bit clearer and natural than the dd3, the drive well... i couldnt compare cuz i hav not heard any other multieffects distortion, but i wasnt blown away by the one on the tonelab se, and apparently as far as multieffects is concerned, the tonelab se is suppose to have one of the most warmest sounding drives on a digital multi efx unit, so i wudnt be wanting to go near any one of those anytime soon... unless of course it can do things analog stuff cant do w/o being super huge, like for example make ur guit sound like other totally dif instruments like trumpet, violin, flute bla bla lol... is there such a thing now? i dun mind investing in one

its been available in the form of roland guitar synth, been around since early 1980s..

the most up to date be the the roland vg99. If just of guitar synth part, the gr20/gr33 can do lotsa cheesy sound just for the fun of it. From orchestra strings to tin whitsle to acapella doo wooop to drums and many other, all thru playing the guitar. It can get cheesy, but plenty of fun...
