7.00 pm: Marionette
7.35 pm: Eden of Rebirth
8.10 pm: Amethyst Le Craft
8.45 pm: Closing band and end of show

Gonna be a long day full of Jpop/Jrock influenced bands. Let's bring the house down this Saturday! :wink:

its a Jrock gig + cosplay.

Which means shirt and trousers ala dinner-style would make u stick out real proud it'd make you ponder and maybe even start pontifying about the meaning of dressing up against the laws of god-given nature.

PS: Vio's playing that night. One more reason not to turn up.
 
Jiro, my band covers some of the rockier songs of Glay, like Yuuwaku. Though generally speaking I'm quite sick of them these days since they stopped releasing any gd stuff, so it's more L'arc and Luna Sea actually.

Vio, no I am not. My band's name is Hakuryusei.
 
jiro: we intended to play dear....but dropped it. well we chose some other SS songs.....hopefully the crowd will enjoy it tho.

mel80, will LGF be interested in the band comp as well? Just wondering.... Coz I might not be able to make it to orchard that early this sat to see you guys.
 
Hey Jiro, we'll be doing mainly our originals plus Shiina Ringo covers (we're a female-fronted band ;)

If nothing crops up and time permits, I don't see why not. Can work things out one :)

Dear all, I have finally started on this project. I have already got in touch with one of the possible sponsors regarding this event they seem quite interested. If held, this event can either be in sometime Sep/Oct or Jan/Feb. Will interested bands please pm me their contacts (msn, hp or anything) so I can further convince the sponsors? If possible the event will be named along the lines of "Singapore's No. 1 Jrock Band" basically indicating that the winner is the best in the local Jrock scene. I believe there has yet to be such an event held.
 
sorry this topic seems dead so I guess i need to revive it... Guys any idea how i can contact the rest of the bands who played at D'Japan Party?I intend to send formal invitations to a few of them...
