Sad for a chinese rock band in singapore and other band member, i guess singapore would have their rock band for ever.

i suppose this stipulation is to cut down on setup time....since there should be tonnes of bands taking part in the auditions, and only 2 days for it.
Imagine if a tone snob takes part and spents half an hour tweaking his tone :lol: all the inconvenience it will cause to the judges/participants.

So perhaps this stipulation is for the better. But they better allow amplification in the subsequent rounds!

I am interpreting the rules that all particpating members must do vocal. Instrument is an optional but the element of vocal must be there.

Yah i agree with some of u all. Superband shld be looking for chinese pop rock band etc. The name is clearly stated superband..BAND!!!! Look up the dictionary and see what it mean. S.H.E, 5566 etc they are not band. They are group. They added duets somemore. Are they afraid that they cant find any chinese band in singapore? Can Channel U staff pls explain somthing here??? I also had written email to them regarding the rules they had set. Really dont understand... Is local music industry really dont encourage band staff? They only want to find vocalists?? Everything comes into one conclusion i guess is that local THINK only vocalists can boost up music industry to earn money while band cant make it here. Please do somthing here...our music industry really going to go down??? Dont always look for 'Money'...music is also important too!!! What do u all gus think?

they list there they are looking for rock bands (wu bai, mayday) pop rock (FIR) and no amplification?!?!

you can only bring acoustic instruments.

maybe they wanna test your skills of going unplugged?

rockers can really forget about it, cause if one group goes up and be the next energy or 5566, rockers can jolly well fuck off the stage as the votes wont be for you. haha

Dance choreography!? Must gelek-gelek like retro 70's dance era. With the whole band dancing together in sync. Damn cool! hahaha

proj superband to me is just another money making scheme by milking sms votes from supporter kids who spend their parents' money.
