3 years later I'm still using DR strings and I'm still using that same stick of FastFret.

Subbie how about you?

Dr user here. I use the 7.50 ones. Last noticably longer than d'darios and feels smooth too. Used to use come CM and Ghs boomers but always went back to dr

i use D'Addario '11s for my Jag and 10's for my Tele..
great sustain..enough for me..

i just changed from dadd 9s to curtmangan stainless steel 9s.

cant descride why but i love it.

about the DR colour coated strings..
does the colour come out after a while?
due to the wear and tear of playing.

I've tried coated strings once. The Black Diamond and not the DR.

Yup... they come off after a while.

Tried D'Addarios before...the 5+ one I think...lifeless...hated it...

Now using Dean Markley's Nickelsteel...very nice...but going to change to GHS Boomers for a try out in maybe 4 months time...

i use DR 9s. didnt change e strings 4 2.5 mths, didnt rust abit!
e nice tone coming frm it lasted 4 quite a long time as well.

i used 2 use e CM strings, n i liked e tone coming frm it, but DR lasts longer.

I was an Ernie Ball user leh. Davis got plenty right?

Love the brand new ernie ball chugga chugga but then doesn't last as long as the DRs.

I like the EH strings too and I get them at wholesale prices but somehow I still turn back to DRs for that extra ZINGGGGGG.
