Sound Card problem..

Hey GUys...

i've been trying to do some recording from my desktop. i managed to record a short guitar sampler last week but when i try to record again there's nothing from the input..
i'm currently using Audacity.

any suggestions on what i could do? isit a sound card problem?

You can check your Sound Control Panel in Windows and make sure you have selected the correct input. There's Mic and Line, and some others depending which soundcard you are using.
