If Bob has completed so many smooth deals before, with two people actually THANKING him, then your complaints are quite groundless.

Does not help that I see you've only made two posts in this forum ever since joining on the beginning of ths month. And the two posts immediately attacks Bob's reputation

Take a picture/video of your phone, with the SMS, showing clearly the number that sent it to you. If you can't produce this proof, you do realise you cannot win this particular fight

Also, are you sure that Bob is the person who met you on that day? How did he look like facial features wise?

Bob, you went down yourself that day? If not, who did and how did he look like?

I didnt say I bought the thing from Swee Lee, but i'm definitely sure IT was BOUGHT from Swee Lee cos its my personal friend who bought it? Again, how clear must i be? Look at the ads around they dun even tell you where stuff is originally from. I'm just giving more info and i get hit on it?

Seriously, this as theliverevolution claims - is groundless. Moreover, what you have been telling me is probably the workmanship of Laney? Please, this only goes to show how appreciative some people are when you are in fact given so many details, a full run-through etc..

theliverevolution, nothing personal man, i know you just want to protect the reputation of fellow soft'ers, but just to remind you again, this is not a cheap shot, i cannot gain anything from posting my experience here, just can't stay "silent" if i know i have some info to help other soft'ers as well

btw, i don't post a lot since i'm just a new member and i don't have time usually to join discussions, but unfortunately i came across this thread and i have to admit, when i read all the post i felt that a lot of biased opinions were thrown without anyone having first hand experience in dealing with the people mentioned

i don't regret dealing with bob, as i said, i like the sound of the amp, i wouldn't have bought it if i didn't feel the deal was close to "fair" but i'm just posting to inform everyone that all - even "small" things matter, and i hope to promote honesty in dealing with people in this forum so that members won't feel paranoid if they're getting ripped off or not

Yes.. The fatal gas that most of us have.. Well, i'm glad you alerted me of my folly. I still stand by what i said that night - call me if you find any problems with it and i'm just slightly disappointed you didnt make the call/sms to ask me about it. Thanks though, glad you still enjoy the deal and a great amp.
