He would have done better singing a song or something, not that his playing is very bad, but for a charity show, half the world isnt interested in seeing a massive guitar solo. If he had done it like Jerry then maybe still ok la cos its fanciful, but he do a 'normal' solo run, hmm... sing his own song still better I think. Haha I'm tempted to say the little kid on the piano pawned him. Ok la joking, but ya kudos to him for pulling it off for charity still.

Everyone's just pissed that sly is a pretty decent guitarist, so they can't say he sucks anymore and just poses with the guitar. I should know, i'm one of these people.

well i jammed with him b4.. and his playing was rather decent.. he has good ears too.. tot i am rather neutral bout him.. he's a nice guy la.. jus like all of us.. he is a learning musician.. and keen on it too.. so be it singing or playing guitar.. i guess as musicians we should support one other.. not putting each other down.. this way i am sure the music community here will benifit lots!! yea...
what I didn't like was that the backing track wasn't really just a backing track. It was covering a lot of the parts he couldn't play. Like the part with the power chords it played the extra notes that JerryC plays so it seems to others that he is actually playing it. And the camera keep changing angle so you think that he's actually playing a lot. that's my opinion.
