Just got back from Slayer...fucking ruled! Fucking gov't wouldent let em paly some songs though....

omfg best night ever!! I got a poster and shirt. the show was the best, i was at the barrier in the $85 section and there was this thing sticking out of it which i stood on the whole time which made me about 50cm above everyone.

after the show me and jarrod stayed back for along time to wait for them to leave and some roadie goes "hey kid, want these?" and he gives me 3 guitar pics of jeff and kerry!! lol all these people wanted them. when they finally came out i got a photo with kerry but i wasnt exactly looking at the camerca cuz he was walking away so i got a stupid face.

got more of the band but that was the only personal one..loved it./ relaxed security, no problems with cameras or going out the back to wait.. loved it. thank you so much lauretta.

And the turnout was a bit disappointing - not enuff publicity?

And the mosh pit was like .... ok at least there's a pit :wink:

there was like 2 people standing behind me at the section B barrier.

it was short.. i wanted cult =(

small crowd aswell.. and there was heaps of advertising. everywhere you go, banners and postacrds and flyers and posters..

haha yea i felt it was a bit short too. but im sure evryone had a lot of fun singing along and moshing. met kevin from love me butch and one of the brand new sunset guys. only show in southeastasia afterall.

comparing the setlist just now to those played elsewhere, is there a diff in no. of songs?

Awesome show, I don't think they let us down, but yeah I felt for some reason that the gig felt short. One and a half hours exactly. But oh well, it was still Slayer and they put on a hell of a show.
I was almost the at rail in the $85 section most of the time, and I'm not sure if it was just me but I noticed that more than half of the people up in the $125 section were just standing there and watching? I was kinda expecting to see a major moshpit up there at the front, but it seemed only at the very very front

wow. i got a totally different ground coverage from a friend of mine. Including the familiar "gerek", "shiok", "fckin great", i also heard it had a turnout which could rival any other major gigs here in sg so far. And that it was "moshing extravaganza" :lol:
