Hey guys, so i brought this thread up cause its down to the FINAL FOUR.

Im cheering for tabitha and sezairi...
Although Sylvia is good but i feel that tabitha's voice is stronger..
As for charles, i think he should be out pretty long time ago...

I'll like to know, what the heck just happened?! My sister's is screaming and ranting and raving on how Singaporeans can't vote properly and forced the judge's the use the save or something like that. My ear hurts!

I think Singapore should not organize such things like SG idol.
1) Not a perfect gauge and nothing will ever make one unless you strain everyone in our country to sing at the same time and cherry pick the best including the baby crying next door.
2) If you have many friends to vote for you who gives a shit if you can sing or not youre through. Popularity contest.
3) The whole singing thing is subjective. My voice will be a nightingale to some or a monotonous chanting monk to others ( no offence monks )
I dont see why they have to host this sort of shows to provide entertainment. Why not showcase more local bands, provide a platform for Singaporean musicians to shine? Wont Singapore have more than just 1 Idol every few years then?

Lol, that's why my sister thinks the save got used today. No one got voted out, and you realise that Gurmit Singh did NOT mentioned that the judge's save has not been used, unlike previous episodes where he constantly breathed it down the contestant's throats.

Tabby (the female vocal powerhouse) will be out in 3rd, with Charles and Sezairi locking horns for first place. Charles will be runner up.

did any of you guys watch yesterday's episode? Mediacorp decided to have a "Non-Elimination Episode" after encouraging people to pay per vote for their idol!

He's got his fanbase that supports him. He's probably the most experienced out of the top four, and he has the maturity that older viewers would be compelled to vote for him more then the other three.
Besides, considering that he's a guy and he looks not too bad, a lot of teenage girls would vote for him. Anyone remember *cough* Paul *wheese* 2mountains? His vocals weren't the best and he stayed in the competition at the expense of others, due to a large fanbase.
Up to know, my impression of him however, still hasn't changed, but that's not the point

But Charles' voice is really too locally accented ready, he sounds like someone who has been singing mandarin songs his whole life and then suddenly tried singing english songs. I don't know how to put it, his voice sounds pretty 'fake'.
