To be honest, I don't think too much and just eat whatever is on my table and wear whatever I see and like. Thinking too much hurts my head. I'm seriously not trying to be funny.

I don't know, I'm someone who just loves life and does whatever I like. I like peeing at traffic lights and throwing up near bouncers. :mrgreen:

When the buying stops, the practice stops. I'm against sharks fin and animal fur mainly because of the cruelty involved. Cats and dogs are skinned alive and fully conscious, and sharks have their fins chopped off and thrown back into the sea to bleed to death, or be attacked by their own kind.

Its unquestionable cruelty that prompts me to stand against it. I admit I like sharksfin, but its fake sharksfin I like, and its actually quite nice. I do believe some animals are there for our consumption, but we have no right to torture them or inflict pain on them in the process.

And you know what they say, now an animal abuser, later an abuser of fellow human beings. If someone abuses animals, he/she is almost certain to become abusive to his/her fellow human beings. I voted the last option, and I am really glad it has the highest number of votes. It shows that people do have hearts, and that people who find joy in inflicting pain and suffering are still a minority.

oh not all fins are taken from living sharks. this probably forms a minority though. i think most hunters still take the fin from living sharks and then throw them back to die. bad, bad hunters.
 
the idea of a human wanting to put animals' fur over his/her skin bemuses me.

then again, maybe i'm not 'atas' enough to understand! :p

Duh! sage hates Bush. donch know if it's Bush Senior or Junior or some other Bush or bush that she's alluding to but I always thought that the Bush's wasted too much resources in trying to save Kosovo and to liberate Kuwait.

Pity! Some peeps will never ever get it, until it's too late! Sad but true signs of the times.

once again my point is proven: HUMANS ARE THE MOST CRUEL BEING ON EARTH.

-we kill for economic something: it was said in the video. male chicks dont have economic value. so do you have to KILL THEM!?

-we kill because they occupy space: strays? they have the right to live anywhere on earth for lovelovelovelove's sake.

-we kill because they spread germs and are harmful: kill coacroches? mosquitoes? they dont kill u do they?

-we kill because they MAY kill us: mosquitoes. even before they kill(if they do), we kill them. who's more cruel?

-we kill coz they annoy us: mosquitoes. buzzzzzzzzzzz *slap!* get it?

-we kill for fun: fighting fish? fighting male chickens(whats that word...)? yay there's an ant! *slap!*

-we kill for curiosity: research? dissect frogs? dingdong!

-we sterelize strays: why? coz more of them will occupy more space that is "owned" by humans? its nature la. what the lovelovelovelove

i know this is not a complain-about-animal-cruelty thread. but i need to rant and complain coz its 2.10am and i had a bad workday.

human are not cruel, sometimes we have no choice we still need to eat, but for cases like shark fin, there isnt really a need to therefore its just an act of stupid superstition that we must eliminate. fur is ok in the past where cavemen need to wear stuff but now we got synthetic materials to substitute so i guess its bad but still shark fin is the worse of these2

chill bro. watch the video again, and then the 2nd one. this is currently the most humane technique to effectively slaughter chickens and male chicks.
 
sage: Yup, that's what they do. Sprinkle some pepper and salt, maybe a dash of nutmeg and some chinese coriander and wa la. All these while the poor monkey's struggling.

HAHA monkeys with their brains intact. This I must see.

haha. yeah im chilled. had a bad workday thats all. :D in fact i love to eat chicken. ate a wing 5 mins ago. though i dont think killing male chicks is necessary
