Boy.. You young people today sure have guts and balls (or maybe money ). There's no way I could make myself do that to any of my axes. Not in my crazy young days.. Not today.. Not in the future.. Unless I become a guitar luthier but that's a whole different story already.

LOL i no money la..juz that it is lousy guitar wat..and i also beginning dun like its colour already..so juz experiment lor..LOL

Lousy guitar or not. I still can't do it if its mine. Do post pics of your masterpiece if you can. I'm rather curious of the outcome. :)

you can get those pickguards online or from ebay.
there is one power seller there selling lots of pickguards.

and news just in from elliot easton himself.
"I spoke with the head of the Custom Shop today, and he informed me that my signature model SG has been assigned a SKU#. That means that it is officially in their system and they will accept orders, and he also told me that they already have some in production! If you speak to your Gibson dealer, or even the regional sales rep for your area, and they are not yet aware of this, or try to tell you differently, they are wrong. Just insist that they contact the Gibson Custom Shop to get that SKU#. From there they know what to do. Here's wishing you a low serial #! As soon as I get the SKU#, I will post it here, but it doesn't really matter; you can order it anytime now."

now just that small little question on its price, which he said is expected to be somewhere around USD2-3k :(
