Seymour Duncan pickups- which model(s) would you buy?

btw will i encounter any problems if i install the SSL in the middle with stock PUs on neck and bridge? The resistances difference are quite big (6ohms and 15ohms).

What bout Ducan distortion? I really would like to know wat their exact difference are?

the Duncan Distortion is a balanced humbucker IMO, but lesser mids than the JB. i like it in the neck position for very defined single notes, have it in my RG1550.

Guys, need your comment on this combo for LP, which one is better:
JB + Alnico II Pro, or
JB + Jazz

I'm playing classic rock, metal, blues and sometime jazz.

JB Jazz for me.

The jazz, IMO, is very crisp clean and clear. Everything you need in a "polite" pickup. The JB... well, you probably already know about the JB.

the Jazz is a fine choice for the neck, however, i'm impartial about having the JB in the LP bridge position. the JB is a midrange supremo but i feel that the LP would lose the vintage touch with this pickup, unless you don't give a hoot about all that & wish for an overall defined tone which the JB has to offer.
