friends, survey once more- which Seymour Duncan pickup(s) would you buy? please state if it's a trembucker version (if it's a humbucker)- thanks!

for me, i'd like to get my hands on a 7-string pair of JB bridge (trembucker) + Jazz neck... 8)

Hello sub 8)
Just those two? i thought you already own quite a number of others?
or is the survey based on which one you're considering laying your hands on?

well for me I would buy the little 59, alnico II pro humbuckers, and probably many more!

he he- most of my 6strings have Duncans in them, just that i'd like to try a 7-string version for a change since they are gonna be readily available in time to come... OOOOPS!!! what did i just say?

hey bro- i'm in the midst of reviewing the RG7321, even went back to the store to try it again today.. it'll appear soon, promise!!

i just have this itch to get the duncans in my RG7620, but still considering because i love the default Dimarzios...

Sub, Digging into ur wallet again huh... u probably have to face some not-so-nice music fr ur wife b4 the nicer ones that comes fr a duncan 7-stringer

I'm for the JB in the bridge as well (f-spaced). Mids just add that extra beef to heavy rhythm.

but Sub how does the jazz in the neck sound like?

he he- not true. my wife endorses my hobby. she likes me to stay at home where i'm needed most, the reason why she never nags when i bring in more stuff to play with...

i've never heard the Jazz (neck) in person (for 7-string), many people here who plays 7string, has Dimarzios in them...

i've heard one online which is pretty impressive, considering that it's run through a POD & recorded straight to the console. i hear more defined bottom end, definitely but the gain isn't max-out, which is what i prefer...

if you've not read between the lines, what i'm trying to say is: there's gonna be a new Seymour Duncan dealer which promises more models off the shelf, more Trembucker spaced versions for our floyd-type vibrato equipped guitars & other specialised models (eg: P-90) for our sonic pleasure... 8)

yipee, dat means i can get a phat cat, interesting concept of havin a p90 in a humbucker size

yup- keep responding to this thread, i'm using it to convince the dealer that the interest in Seymour Duncans goes beyond that of popular models.

I always wanted a Duckbucker, Metal LiveWire and Trembucker...

If I ever have enough money, I would get an alnico pro humbucker... and a '59. Gotta love les pauls 8)

wanted to try the tried and tested JB bridge and jazz neck but ended up choosing JB and neck Distortion...next would like to try screamin' demon for bridge like sub in his RG...

Heya, what guitar are you using and how does the Distortion sound in the neck?

RG470....JB in the bridge is great..as you would know...distortion in the neck is just fantastic..smooth soloing tone whether or not i dial up the gain...when the gain is up it just sounds so thick and creamy and smooth...
