this was purely mucking about with a cam on, no structure or thought into it at all, at VERY low volume to boot, with a tele and with a moving cam which warps the sound from time to time (doh, should have put it on a stand!!!) - goose, we'll work on another take that will be better...! this weekend or something?? and heck yeah i'll throw some blues in, why not :P

so far i'm really liking this pedal. very responsive - delivers great for high gain, but i think there are some good decent low / medium gain tones buried in there somewhere. and - clarity, clarity, clarity. love the way it shines in that aspect.

methinks with a tubescreamer type pedal before it for a tad of compression and saturation, it is going to sound frickin awesome for widdly bits. let's find that out...

Bro, if you are making one more, let me know. I'd be willing to replace all my drive pedals with this.
 
slinky, it's smooth but not in a compressed way - there's no noticeable compression going. i think a drive pedal into the seventheaven will make it an extremely flexible pairing.

and it is DEAD SILENT at full gain maxed out. try getting THAT with a crunchbox or even an Openhaus (which is one of the quietest high gain pedals i have heard).

the pedal works, sounds and responds like an amp - more so than any other pedal i've ever used. i'm seriously impressed. the backing off the guitar volume - sounds and responds amazingly well. remind me to demo that the next time round.

salutations to our gooseman for designing something that's not bullshit hype! in fact, the guy's trying to play it down. sheesh.

I thought this pedal was interesting. Shreddy's demo was convincing enough. I couldn't much tell what was going on for this vid though... I still would like to hear it in person, and thru a single channel amp. But for what it's worth, it's impressive. And yes, from what I hear from Shreddy's clips, you CAN play Creed with it...:mrgreen:

BUT, no low gain demo?
 
I think... in that youtube clip - the 7th is running on 9v.

18v has a bigger sound. Slightly less saturation. Quite a bit more volume. More bass. More punch. More 3D-ish.

Imagine that.

Channels selectable only by toggle switch? Why not make it selectable also by DPDT? so you have 3 on the same pedal. "Boost ---> Channel ---> Bypass"??? Not possible to make ah?:confused:
