The delay used in the video was an Akai Headrush.
I think the main point we should all keep a mental note on is that in the right hands, the 7th is an amazingly versatile tool for shaping your sound. Metal is just one of its many fortes as I've even shown many guys how to get a convincing low-gain ala slight breakup/Andy Timmons with it. Sweet stuff.

its Goose's Fatman OD and an Akai Headrush.....
You dont need more gain dude...what you want is saturation. Goose did not want to overdo the saturation on the pedal because he wants to keep things quiet (since most pedals with ALOT of saturation get rather messy and noisy) and you can stack your favourite OD pedal along with it - most guys do that anyways.

Bro, the Headrush is an awesome pedal, but what it shows here is how the drive blends in nicely with the delay, sorry im an@l like that. ive had drives (or delays) that just nvr blended together. so far ive tried the seventh with,

bro!... no need more gain, haha... hot pickups and hard strumming will give all the palm muting bliss (and some tweaking of cause). ive boosted my Analogman K.O.T ito it for the tight ass distortion that i crave too...it can definately do 70% Mesa type drive. 80% XTC, 80% Orange, 90% Marshall..... no problemo!... thats too my ears and through an Orange Cab with V30's or that cab at Gooses place, cant remember what it was or whats in it, but hell sounds good on that .... hahahaha
oddly, im in love with the channel '2' of the pedal, the low gain side. and i think 2 sevenths would be great!.... *ahem* my birthday 2nd Nov GOOSE!!!...... *ahem*
