My sansamp gt2 encounters wierd high pitch squeals when guitar is rigged up. i believe it might be scratchy pots or faulty wiring. anybody encountered the same or knows someone who repairs?

yerps.. I've experienced this b4... its your input/output jacks...mine went off after i gave it some shake.. i believe its wiring...its fixable for sure..

before we jump to provide solutions to an incomplete scenario.

bigrockshow, when do the squeals happen? When you turn on the GT2? Does it go away if you adjust anything? Do you have any other effects?

yes i have other effects but they do not contribute to the squealing.

it happens when i connect them up and turn on the sansamp...its really frustrating as the signal is on and off (squeal and no-squeal)

Solve the problem onces & for all, bring it to Randolf, Goose, Edder, Blueark... any of the modders here. Let them take a look.

If all fails, you have to send it to a tech21 authorised dealer (not in Singapore anymore) but if you are not under warrenty, then its the US of A for you.
