(like the one which you said your tele made you wanna play like Jim Root in drop tunings and THOA hilariously came down on you).
I reread that thread again. Just had to laugh at it, lol. Have to admit, I was being downright mean la basically. But was feeling bloodthirsty somehow that time so he became convenient target.
Teleplayer: About digging of threads, not only you ah, even the some senior members here quite guilty of it. We tend to do searches on questions we have so we know that there are some info prior. We don't want to ask the same old, same old again. It's annoying to see it asked to death when all the info required can either be refereed from past threads or googled up over the net. A majority of us hates it when someone does not seem to put in effort to look deeper into his interest, and instead rely on info being spoon fed. We are not your parents or teachers.
Anyway, when old threads are being looked up on, sometimes a question or opinion might spring into our mind and we can accidentally dig up the thread by replying on it. Not the first time for such a thing to happen. Never will be the last.
But Ized is right. I really think that before you start a thread, consider the thoughts you are trying to put forth before you say something. A lot of the threads you write are based on misguided assumptions and naivety, not facts, experience or even educated guesses. It gets more annoying when you try to give advice on topics that you barely know about. When the blind is trying to teach the blind to see, how will vision ever be attained?
Best to take this time you are on SOFT to read, take notes, refer, and then after that try it out yourself to see what you can conclude. Then use that knowledge and experience to relate it to others.
Good luck.
