Recommend a Multi-FX

Hi guys,

I can't see a thread about recommended multi-fx (either there are none or that my eyes are completely useless), so is there any that you guys are using right now that is worth recommending?

Budget: I dunno. Perhaps $500?

GT8 is gd if u dun mind spending endless hours tweaking it. Its tonla replication is excellent.....better than the XT Live but do factor in the cost and the fact that it is harder to use than the XT Live. Unless u really want all those crazy efx XT Live shld suit u fine.

yamaha dg stomp, i really liked the clean chorus and stuff, however distortion lead it cant really handle very well but still acceptable. normally you can find those floating around for 200++ of even cheaper. i got my 2nd hand at 200, pretty a nice tool for the price

not forgetting how convenient the xt live is. everything can be set with ur pc and u can record through usb. check out my canon cover in the open mic section if u want a sample of a recording using the pod xt live.

I have a ux2 which has a 1/4" input jack for guitars. I think I can see the popularity the Pod XT live and I have no doubts about its capabilities. But I want to utilise my ux2 to the fullest. Besides, my USB connections are quite limited, with the ones I have taken up by my mouse, keyboard and UX2 already.

I saw a thread of someone selling the Boss ME-50. I have heard it myself and I can say I am pretty impressed. But I am looking to see any further options out there that I can consider.

for guitar recording u dont necessiarly need a POD XT LIVE. Theres other stuff like the line6 rifftracker.

I am aware of that. I am not just specifically for recording. I know what I have is pretty capable for recording purposes.

Just looking for something that has a great amount of effects to play with, and sounds good

if u want alot of effects i would say boss GT-8.but u gota take some time off to learn how to tweak it too the max. the pod xtl for me is kinda like an all in one,haha. the effects on it are good but nothing great but the amp sims are awesome.if u already have a ux2 then boss gt-8? haha.
