I'm loving the tone on the bridge pickup, running it straight to a cranked vox amp is just pure rock. Not so sure about the neck pickup though, it's a tad too dark for my liking, though not muddy. Clean it's doesn't match up to my CIJ 62 tele but hey, P90s are for rocking out :D

obzervr: I got the pickguard from warmoth
 
no lah, i never bolt on the neck.

I just put there testing testing only, wana see how the final will roughly look
 
seekz, why not burst the pickguard as well?

The white pg looks out of place with the silverbust, looks too....... white.

mero: you may wanna try Dream90 on the neck, its less hot and more single coil'ish.
 
seek: just my advise and you can choose to ignore :) actually you should not use the easy burst method. putting the cardboard over may be easier but you'll also misalign the burst or making it edgy easily. See my purple haze, it's done without a cupboard over. It requires better spray control though.
 
yeah, i agree... but sadly i dont have to skill to do it freehand
so I'm doing it the cardboard way, its not great but at least decent.
I go back and forth to the spraying area so much, I felt like a schizo!

find inner peace, and there you have it !

I just needed a project strat cos I've been designing pedals
around humbucking guitars. hua hi du ho!
