Regardless of the exterior condition of the Boss CE2 or any other Boss and Ibanez pedals as long as it's working it's is a KEEPER that's for sure! I used to own this in my teens and still kick myself thes days tinking that I traded this lil gem for a DOD Wah.
Let me know if Lil Miss Sky Blue ever needs maintenance to revive that old magic that still charms. :)

Hmmm... come to tink of it your Lil Miss Sky Blue luks alot like my long lost love. Sigh! :D

I dont claim to be an expert but I sure do love MIJ Boss Pedals.

from what you said, it should be a black labelled MIJ Boss CE-2. lucky you :smt117

open it up, what is the IC chip that you see there? 4558C, 4558D or 4558DD? if its not either one of those, it could have been modded somewhere along the 24 years. modded = price decrease.

however if the components are replaced with those of equal value, the price would not be affected. its like doing a refret for a guitar. I mean think about it, these are necessary things to do to maintain a piece of equipment over time right?

as long as it is in working condition, I say you can fetch around $210 to $230 ( in sgd of course ). do note that condition plays a part in the price game. well as long as you stay firm with the price, I'm sure someone would just take it eventually. if you want to sell it of course.

I'm looking for the silver screw version of it ( probably 1980 - 1981 or something ). my CE-2 is made in 1986 but the condition is almost like straight out of the box. I even have a spare shell of the CE-2 tucked away in a box. nice  .

anyway my advice is, keep it. its a good chorus pedal.
