When I bypass the pedal, the signal cannot go thru. So the pedal must be switched on at all times...

I've bro airhole bro look at it. He suggested using an expression pedal to replace the faulty switch or get a new one...

Hmm yeah im actually still interested in the octaver/pitch shifter thing.....i've done my homework....An octaver can produce an octave or two below what u are playing rite? While the PH-5 Pitch shifter can produce +2/-2.....not to mention a harmoniser as well....so does that mean a pitch shifter is more versatile?

What do u guys recommend? :D

The 2 main things to bother with these harmoniser, pitch shifting, octavers... is...

1) Polyphonic? Can you play 2 notes and have the device track both?

2) Tone? Can you stand the fake-ish, synthy tone?

Tracking is an issue but in today's time, its pretty much nailed...

I use a Boss OC-2 (mij for more mojo) before my gain pedals... I enjoy its synthy octave down effect, nice but not something I will leave on all the time.

I can't stand harmonisers... sound very very fake to me.

uhm... i get a headache each time I think of em... hur hur hur... too many.

when I run out of money, I'll sell em away.

They'd probably be worth more $$$ in 3 years time. yay!

AHHAHA YEAH. i got it!!! the guy he was only just playing one octave higher la. no pitch shifting involved wadsover. but anyway THANKS for all your help guys!!

haha i think i'll drop by peninsula this week to test a boss PH-5 and OC-3....any of you guys, see sum dude testing a pitch shifter or octave pedal, just say hi and identify yourself yah?

Or if any of you guys wanna sell? :D
