my Axes
we all have things we like.
FERNANDES " The Revival " model
this fella here was made in Japan, n its known to be the LAWSUIT model. cos this model actuali got the company sued by Fender for its near exact specs to the original Tele. ( wonder if thats true )
But the sad thing is that i oredi sold it. Good axe n reliable. i have had lotsa memorable gigs wif it.

Acoustic guitars are my very first instrument n i even try to emulate an electric guitar sound tru it when i was like 13yrs old. very 1st brand was a KAPOK onli $20, then when i was abit better, bought a CONGRESS, $55.75 ( prices were quoted back in year 1991 ) own pocket money. i dreamt of having a good Acoustic guitar ever since. till one day.......
this i have to be honest, i was like 20++yrs old, my wife bought me a Taylor on my birthday, its a dream come tru. i Hardly played wif it. MY PRECIOUS. sentimental value. NOT FOR SALE This fella is a Taylor 414CE.

Very nice Taylor! This one Taylor I would like very much.. Your wife has really good taste. Personally, the 414s I tried actually sounded better than the 814s, so you have a winner there.

Very nice Taylor! This one Taylor I would like very much.. Your wife has really good taste. Personally, the 414s I tried actually sounded better than the 814s, so you have a winner there.

the Fernandes tele looks very accurate, no wonder it got the better of fender. heck muddy waters (RIP) would've defected with this guitar anytime... tell us about the wood, if you can still remember of course...

the mesa was bought at Esden at sim lim square
its quite expensive for its kind. i was actualli desperate to have a good amp at that time. Marshall wasnt quite wat i wanted. i tried askin around for VHT Pitbull. thats wat i realli wanted. then i came to Esden n they eventualli hv a Mesa rectifier...
So i just bought it. But wat freaked me out was the week after i bought that Mesa, they brought in a Mesa ROAD KING.. cost quite a bomb but it was too late..
So if anyone have any details how i can have a VHT PITTBULL 100,
PLS SHARE IT WIF ME. cos thats still a dream unaccomplished.

Ah. That place where when I asked the old man if I could try out one of the amps, he looked at me with such an awful hateful glare, you would have thought that I had just asked him if I could take a cr*p on the carpet in the centre of the shop,
I can't remember what amp it was - it was a Mesa combo of some kind. This was over a year ago. I was seriously considering buying it there and then without knowing the price or if it even worked. He grunted a few seconds later, made no attempt to fulfil my request then carried on fiddling with some broken radio on the counter. I asked him again and about the price etc, about what other stock he could get, and was met with more unintelligible grunts and still no guitar and cable to get going. I gave up and went to McDonalds.
Anyone know what he has in the store right now? I'm getting so fed up with waiting for Swee Lee to bring some in (they said December about 6 months ago) that I might venture back to see Grunting Man, hoping that this time he isn't so pre-menstrual.
I suppose bargaining is out of the question...

Fender Pearly Gates
here is another of my AXE. bought it 2nd Hand but its stiill in TIP TOP condition...
i often play wif this guitar. it trully rocks n most reliable in a sense that, when u play wif it, u wont get stress out. i dont knoe wats its specs but i knoe it have SEYMOUR DUNCAN Pearly Gates humbucker...
good sustain too.

Thanks - yes, I really look after my instruments well and I play (and love) them all equally like children.
Anyway, the Strat and Martin are relatively new so in mint condition. The Ibanez is 4 years old but never gigged so almost perfect. Like I said in another thread, a knock or ding on my guitars is a tragedy of major proportions in my house.
Strat was $2600 from Swee Lee. They would not move on the price, but i was so enamoured of it that I can't say I resisted too hard.
Your Strat looks like an American Series HSS (humbucker, single, single).

yes it is my friend. its American alrite. how i wish i can be like u, to be able to look after my guitars well. the onli guitar i take real care is my Taylor. that one if anybody touch, i wuld scream like hell. my wife bought for me u knoe. hope u have seen the pics on my earlier post. so sayangggg one.
