lol ... the strap is from d addario ... i struck me as a perfect companion for the guitar... been on it ever since.

okamoto? ..... hmm...

nice js100 dhol...

bruce: the ce24 and the custom 24 are quite different... the custom being way more expensive and luxurious , with birds... and as you can see ...very nice maple flame TOPS!!!

the ce24s have maple necks bolted into the body... with the neck pickup mounted on the neck itself. same for the custom..just that the custom's neck is mahogany and it is set in... like a lespaul.

yo repulse! very nice guitars man ...we got similiar setups..just that my guitars are like lower end lol...

cool stuff.. i noticed your prs hardcase is alittle different from mine.. the guitar rests alittle slanted.... quite interesting how they changed the design...

my neighbour has a 57 reissue too! ..............thru his fender twin... i must say.. it is the purest strat tone one can get...

Thanks Chanmin!

Yeah I guess our setup's pretty much the same but I see you swapped the PRS pickups out, I still have the stock pickups in which may still be too hot for some people's tastes. Anyway, its weird that our cases are different, but yah, mine's an old PRS, how old's yours?

Agreed, the 57' Strat's the most primal form of the Strat (unless you go customshop). very raw feel to it. the pickups are low output, frets are vintage thin fretwires and V-neck, which takes some time to get used to, but hell... wanking on blues has never been so fun.

yea the guitar came with some custom wound crap.. which cost couple of hundred...i opted to get the guitar without em and slapped on a 59' and a super dist. this axe is built to RAWK. the cleans are pretty spanky too..thanks to some pickup configuration mods... oh my ce24 is 14 yrs old this year.

my strat also has the thin fret wires man... hmm .. alittle uncomfortable for me actually.. but whadahell... just whack.

Nice setup. Especially the preamp and power amp. How much did you paid for the preamp and poweramp?

I'm considering a new amp either from THD, Marshall or Mesa.

How does the DSL compare to the TSL series? Does anyone know how much the TSL 60 or the DSL50 cost? Thanks!

paid 1300 for the jmp1 and 1050 for the 20/20 poweramp

i wanted a triaxis but it costs 3x the price of the jmp1 so i decided against it. tone is pretty good from the jmp1 though, covers almost every marshall sound ive heard, but then again i havent heard that many of the really vintage ones.

I heard the thd univalve is a good amp too!

my RG7620 (discont'd), the only Ibanez to retain the default pickups- those Dimarzios in there are very good through a solid-state set-up. elsewhere, you would read people hating these Dimarzios & suggesting the Blaze models as replacements. it really depends on your set-up, really...

thanks, Sponge Bob for taking good care of my guitar!

I'm looking at the THD seriously, but haven't had a chance to try it out. Neither do I know if it's in my budget. But it's a very good setup you have there.
