The dude who recorded that can play one. His clips always been steady. Bet even if not a boutique, he can make it shine.
I'm actually more on the look out for the feel of an od/dist. If you record stuff, use non booteek things, its likely going to sound similiar unless the person listening has good monitors/speakers... (though... i have a very weird idea of whats "good tone".)
But the player feels it all, and that is what really matters.. so nothing has beaten the Skreddy and Blackstone in that area. And they both have some unique tonal qualities to boot...
So thats why, after reading on the LO, I thought, hell, why not? Just try ba... hear also wouldn't really get the feel aspect, gotta get it and play. Then later sell @ x 3 the price. Right.

hehe, i can safely say that sometime the uniqueness of things has factor to do with whether is there anyone owing the samething around.
For skreddy, have to admit that those pedals are pretty nice sounding thru a good amp. Clarity and chunkyness i like bout those. Thanks to Malcolm and his sweet lil amp

oh yeah, not yet. 
Yeap, uniquness = whats around. Marshal tones ain't unique no more... but the skreddy screwdriver's mix of fuzz and and distortion is nice and refreshing in a way.
Malcolm's Screwdriver was one of the first few, they had tropical fish caps in them, and they have this airy-ness to it... for lack of better words. That was what I wanted in the first place, but alas... no more tropical fish caps... though, the smokey mod Skreddy did on my Screwdriver has them! :twisted: Can't wait for its return.
His little amp is a Goblin no? Heh.
I do hope the Lovepedal LO has the feel I require of it... When my screwdriver left, I had to use a Sansamp Original, now, I was so irked by the change in feel. Couldn't play properly for a few days because of that.
Wonder what will be in this efx gathering that would be good...

hehe, tropical fish or not, i think shud not let it be a factor to influence too much. Afterall if initially like the pedal already, shud rove it as it is even without the fish. I have a top fuel with me now, not sure whats in there, but i is like what it does.
yeah, the goblin amp. That amp will make any pedals and guitar sound nice, imho.
hehe, this efx gathering actually more like friends coming together, talk efx, watch gigs and dealers doing demo. If you are going, just take it as chance to make new friends or wander round to see another side of efx usage from some of the people playing. If might not be the kinda you like, but it doesnt hurt to see or hear more right

Oh yeah... whats' inside really doesn't make a difference if the tone is right... fact is, without the tropical fish caps, the Skreddy Screwdriver loses that airy-ness to its tone. But it doesn't take away the feel. So okay ba. Suck it up!

nice amp is the key to good sound, regardless of pedals or guitar. And i think your amp is a good one!

methinks its just articulation in the fingers... tone/sound comes from the gear, and the average gear today already sounds pretty good.
I have no idea how to jam in a modulation jam. Hahaha... I can't imagine.. I play a string of notes and what comes out is this banshee wail that sounds like i ripped the strings off my guitar.

Eh, i heard it ... it sounds different from the boss SD1, TS9 kind of vibe. Its got quite a bit of bite and hair to it, and there's a sizzle similiar to the Blackstone. Except the bstone has like x 3 more sizzle.
