Hey guys, check out this eye candy, Daphon
Pedals as follow: Delay (white), Super Overdrive (yellow), Distortion (orange), Phaser (green), Super Chorus (Blue), Compression Sustainer (navy blue), Heavy Metal (Black)
My friend brought in an initial batch of these low cost pedals to test them out. Seems quite promising, as the sound IMO is pretty good considering the price. I guess some of you guys have seen the same batch at GC being sold at between 60 to 80 bucks each. I have already placed an order myself for the next incoming batch.
Description: Modelled after classics, 3 knobs functions dead easy to use, tough plastic shell exterior, top access in/out/9V jacks for maximum squeeze into pedal board, solid construction, low cost but good sound.
My personal review: (cheapest) Distortion, much less gritty and more warm than the DS1, easy to get sweet spots, bass response better too. Only con is that this pedal suck tone in bypass mode, others sound more transparent.
Heavy Metal, full of crunch and drive, not unlike MT2. Easy to dial sweet spots, from fuzz to chugging metal to screaming demon. Very decent fidelity, response is not lost like some heavy distort pedals. Quite transparent bypass.
Delay, easy to use, short delays like reverb efx, mid delays for solo works, long delay for artistic sound, Time/Feedback/Depth control straight forward. Get the job done. Only thing is that the feeback can overload (non stop)when dial is set past 3oclock. But can work to your advantage for creative sound.
Others I not yet review, anyone want to review them can always PM me to come try try, no need shy. That's unless sold away. Heehee... cheers.
Yes, there is also exactly the same effects in a metal casing too, cost difference is only about 15-20bucks.
