Nope, i did not pick that up. I'm only skilled enough to go around leveling and crowning for now. Have not moved to refretting yet. next time round i will order more tools from them.

not entirely a diy build fr scratch or fr parts..but i think the amt of work that is being done will qualify too.hahaha
added a aluminium plate pickguard on it...got it powercoated...geeting it wired by this week...

Neck: Unknown origin les paul style 24.75" scale. Handcarved personalised headstock (not sure if the design is already in use) and neck heel.
Body: 3 piece Canadian Maple, Super Strat, Original Floyd Rose Routing, AANJ
Joint: 3 bolt flush mount and set in Lap joint (neck heel recessesd by 5mm)

Plans:-
Bridge: Floyd Rose 2 (cos this is the only spare floyd that I have)
Pickups Combo: HSH Medium output
Tuners: locking tuners
Nut: Brass
Finish: Light brush on tinted lacquer

Extras:
Toggle Kill Switch: at bottom horn

kahuna: ya man gold make it look exclusive.. but they tarnish easily​
 
eieio: Depends on the grade of the gold plating i think, my strat now has gold parts, the jackplate tarnished within days, the gotoh bridge hasn't tarnished at all

the higher end gotoh sure look like real gold nuggets

eieio, you planning to fix that LP body with the strat neck? Does it feel that the guitar is longer when you play it? reminds me of the Aria Pro II cardinal series, 25.5" neck on an LP styled body.
