[OT] - A moment of silence for Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter

^
and the crocs would shed real tears instead of what people say, "crocodile tears."
although they're crocodiles.
and i'm not trying to sound funny here.

I've been to the Australian Zoo ... the Captured Crocs are very well taken care of. He's not a hunter .... he's a protector and Guardian. His love and Passion for Wild Life commands respect!

my contact list is filled with turtles too. Shows just how much Steve Irwin was loved worldwide. putting the turtle in the nick isn't sucking up. (who on earth would they be sucking up to??)
it's one way of remembering Steve Irwin. just like this thread.
RIP, Steve-o.

i loved his shows and documentaries, its so sad he's gone now. he was a person who gave us a really radical perception of the beautiful animal kingdom.

may the Good Lord have pity on irwin's soul.

All this talk about dying while doing something that you love but how many of us would actually be wanting to be alive doing something we hate....

GOD BLESS YOU STEVE... another great human being gone, we'll miss you.

He was really lucky to have followed his dreams, and his dad's...

tragic death!

I was totally shocked when i found out he had passed away....

I remember watching some of his shows! He was really entertaining ...

how sad...

actually im not shock at all...and whats more i tot its a hoax... his news abt his death..i heard about 6 or 7 times liao..but all hoax...

I read with amazement an article in TODAY papers...some Aussie feminist was saying negative things about Steve & the fact that wild animals need their space etc...

I fail to see the logic.... IMHO Steve appealed to all ages and he actually opened up our minds to animal kingdom. I'd rather be educated about the animals, rather than victimise them - like many poachers and animals abusers do... esp the cat bashers in Singapore.

We need more Steve Irwins and less narrow minded people in the world...
