clarification: I know Steve-o's someone else. If you're a long-time fan of Croc Hunter/Croc Diaries/any show Steve Irwin starred in (as I unabashedly confess to be), you know that Steve refers to himself as Steve-o frequently, as does his wife when she's doing the commentary.

and the turtles have disappeared from my contact list.

i didn't bother. he's just another celebrity who died a weird death.
yes he did alot to the australian zoo.
but then... i don't think he did much more to deserve that much attention.

seeing as how this is a music forum, I think I will prolly be slaughtered for this. but yeah, he might not have been Elvis. true. But he still made just as big a contribution to our society, bigger depending on how you look at it. Elvis changed the rock'n'roll scene. Irwin changed the conservation scene in his way.

it's a nickname Irwin uses to refer to himself. Terri uses it too when she does the commentary on his shows. maybe my spelling was off. anyway, it's not a mistake. it's a coincidence. =D
 
i thought Steve-O was just a jackass...coz in his biog there's no reference to him as a skater..and he was a performer in a circus before he joined jackass...just something...sorry if this is out of topic..


and yeah,Steve Irwin did contribute something to the conservation world...i watched one vid where he carried a trapped croc out of a swamp all by himself....i admire that kind of bravery...

haha thanks df (: but like what kid said, nowadays on SOFT you get a lot of people who pick arguments for no reasons and find fault with like every single minor detail. was being careful lol. looks like I didn't need to, heh. but it doesn't hurt to be careful.
 
I had around 15 friends who put the turtle icon on msn only for that day. It's dumb...don't you normally mourn for a longer time for such people? One even said "bye bye steve irwin although i dunno who you are (tu)"

oh god. I am embarrassed
 
Most people do not really care for Steve's death because they dont know what he did for conservation and how much he really cared for animals.

He was a great person who cared ALOT for animals, people just dont see that because they occasionally view Croc hunter on animal planet and see him wrestle a crocodile and just assume hes just doing this to entertain people.
