Update: found a website that ships overseas. Carries Celestions, Weber & Tone Tubby - but not Eminence. Sent an email to ask about shipping.

Its also a good ideal to try a store that sells the speakers that we want. May be cheaper for them to Fedex all the speaker together.
For large order Fedex could be cheaper than USPS.

Was seaching for celestion speaker in UK, i realise that it is cheaper in UK stores, a lot cheaper.

Celestion G10: after conversion
Pound: X2.93 - S$82
USD: X1.58 - S$134

Saving: S$52
But UK no VPost, still checking their international shipping rate.

Celestions - Hmm one reason why I avoided them was the constant MIC/MIUK debate, as well as Celestions usually being priced a little bit more expensive. But hey, if it's cheaper, I don't mind switching over.

One thing we can do is conslidate all orders, then email for quotes from all sources we can find, then decide on the best course of action.

Celestion is the most ex, Jensen the cheapest.
Celestion MIC? I thought UK?
Eminence US,
Jensen Italy

Even if celestion is MIC, it still top my list, cause from the user group of my amp, Celestion G10 works best. Still quite skeptical about Jensen. Eminence is a safer bet, for the price and reputation. Celestion is well, like you say priced too high!

5. Are the Celestion speakers you are selling made in the UK or China? Most of the Celestion guitar speakers with regular ferrite magnets have been made in China for the last few years. The Alnico Blues, Century Neo and Vintage Neos are currently made in the UK Factory.

6. Do the UK Celestions and the Chinese Celestions sound the same? Technically, no two speakers are identical. For most guys there are no appreciable differences between the two but Tone is very subjective so when a real tone tweaker expresses his opinion that he can hear a difference between the same model speaker from the two different factories, he has the right to his opinion and you can't argue with him. We've sold thousands of Celestion guitar 12's over the years and found them to be of the same very high quality that Celestion has always been known for. Our guitar cabs get great reviews and most of those cabs are loaded with Celestions.. most of which come from the China factory.

For me honestly I can't decide on a Celestion 12". If it were the Vintage 30 I'd get the Carvin 112 cab in a moment - it's a no-brainer - but I'm looking for a speaker with more tamed highs.

emailed the malaysia site before, no response. bcos of all the transport, there might be a mark up. UK is still cheaper. I had tried Aus too.

i called up the singapore office of the above.. the guy said they don't indent the celestion speakers..says not even the malaysia office has it... they only do big items like church/cinema audio-visual stuff. Yup so looks like have to bring it yourselves.
