OMG I zhnnnnnnged my guitar

DO IT NOW ....get rid of that lousy distortion

I was pointed to this:

It's an old Danelectro discontinued model called the innuendo. It was made in Korea and get this, was selling for only US$259. Plywood body maybe that's why. It's got a built in fuzz, chorus, tremolo, and echo. Apparently the small white switches turn them on and off, but doesn't look like their too tweakable, SO FEW KNOBS

This is interesting.Gave me ideas on my project guitar.

I had an Ibanez CT series strat, made in Japan,H/S/S and has one of those vintage trems.

Couldn't find anything about it over the net,so i figured out what the heck.
I stripped everything off,and decided to work something out of it.

I also have a zoom tri-metal(which is pretty screwed right now,I'll elaborate on that one later).

I am thinking of filling up the single coil routing with some wood or whatsoever, change the bridge and nut and tuners/whatever,put an x2n or something equivalent and 'incorporate' the tri-metal into the guitar.I don't know what the right word is though. Is that possible people?

You don't have to fill up the route, I don't think it makes any tonal changes. The tri-metal circuit board might be squeezable into the bridge cavity, I dunno. But then you'll have to live without a vibrato, or retrofit a bigsby or similar :D

I don't intend on using a vibrato on this guitar. In fact,I would want to turn it into a hard tail guitar.Saw some articles at projectguitar.com.Doubt I'll be able to do such stuff though.

This whole thing...it's really interesting.

And it could potentially ruin a good, working guitar.

Ark knew what he needed and so he did it.

If you wanna do it for the sake of experimenting, you better be sure...

Well,I've made up my mind about the guitar(that's probably the reason why I stripped everything down).Besides I've always wanted to work on a project guitar, and seeing blueark's work,'motivated' me in some other way.
