grateful visitor,
frummer

just dropping a note after visiting Nigel's shop for the first time. Nigel's service is top-notch man. His method of introducing himself is funny, lol--"Anyone who carries a pair of drumsticks is a friend of mine!" He takes a picture of his customers, lol. When he asked me, "Can I take a picture of you?" I was quite surprised. But the stuff he has in there is fantastic, and I really learned a lot talking to him and everyone who came to hang out. Thanks Nigel! will definitely be comin back and recommending DRMP to my friends.

Er... play for workshop ah? A bit pai seh leh... Actually, I'm seriously shy about that. Cuz I'm not much of a flash-dashy technician lah. People don't go "ooh-ah" when I play. Sekali your workshop attendees all get bored how?

Beboptang...

Nigel!!

Hi Nigel. I went to your shop the other day to check out the hardware bag remember? It was super nice of you to let me try out the cymbals and all. It's hard to find drummers with such a cool attitude like yours. I hope I can save enough to get that hardware bag one day. Thanks! You rule! \m/

heys...i'm the guitarist who came by with a bunch of friends to your shop on monday, when kerr was still in your shop...

my drummer checked out the drum stick bag but din buy from you in the end...anyway..thanks for the great service, though you were quite busy, you still attended to my friend with such a great attitude!

well, wanted to apologize on behalf of my friends, the younger ones didn't know better, and played with the cymbals with his fingers...so sorry about that.... yeah... and if i ever need to get drum stuff (if i ever 'cross-instrument') i'll get something from your shop! =)

take care bro, and yeah, keep excelsior rocking!

mulyadi,

hiya! Thanks for coming by! I am glad you enjoyed your visit to my shop. I will always try my best to do my best, sometimes i am quite overwhelmed. In times when my service is not at its best, i seek everyone's understanding and forgiveness.

Keep educating your frens about such etiquettes .....

:)

Matno,

Hiya! Thanks for coming by too!

My stand is this, its only right for you guys to try any products before purchasing them. all the more when its about sound, tone, feel etc .....

Having said that, it does not mean any customer can demand to test every box set of cymbals! lol ....

As much as I try to take care of all you guys in whatever i am doing, I do hope all of you my friends can take care of me in some small ways too.

Keep groovin'.

Kerr!

I dun know how to upload pics here. Can I pass yu the cds instead?

:D

Birthout,

Thanks for visiting me. I am glad you enjoyed your visit. The cost of sound proofing is very much dependant on the quality and quantity of it. Talk to me when you come by again ok.

:)

BeBoptang,

I am sure you can!!!!!!!!!! :D

hi nigel,

wow, from all these response, i can see you are really a good relationship between the customers. i just have a question for you. do you sell chrome drumsticks? i saw one shop in excelsior selling it but i guess it should be out of stock already. and i am, too looking for JJ signature ahead drumsticks.

thanks for your great help.

Metalella_eh,

Hiya! I strive to do what I can within my ability.

regarding the chrome sticks, I regret that I do not sell them. But I do carry Joey Jordison's Sticks from Ahead. New shipment just came in, so I have them ready in stock! Come on down and get them.

:)

kgoh88,

hiya! Thanks for coming down. I must apologise for your wasted trip! Last fri I took urgent day off to spend some quality time with my family. Since I started business on 1st Sept 2005 till then, I had kinda neglected my family. It was a much needed one. Seek your understanding.

:)

Opening Hours: 12pm to 9pm (Mon - Sat)

Has anyone out there heard of Axis Pedals?

Yeap Jon Koh is definitely right. He da man !

Just sharing my 2cents on Axis pedals...
Had the priviledge of try these babies out. Sooper smooth dudes with pretty great control and response ! But oh-my-goodness-gracious EXPENSIVE ! We're talking in the four figures here for their pedals ! Think they are one of (if not the most) expensive pedals around...even more than DW !

But of course having said that, it's definitely the quality of the equipment you're paying for. Solid build and design. Everything is metal (can't remember the exact material, THINK it's some sorta aluminium alloy or soemthing ?).

Dude I'm very happy for you ! It's already quite an acheivement....your shop ! Keep the faith ! You'll get your FULL dream !

Looks like you've got the local community support too ! That's what it should be all about ! Drummers encouraging and sharing knowledge with each other !

Swing by soon...

Care to share which model of the Axis pedals that u got?

Is it the A longboards or X longboards or others?

Which online site did u get them at?

Thanxx!!

BeBoptang & Shred,

Hiya! Yes I have heard of them and i did tried to bring in, but because of certain reasons, i could not but I am going to try again. So if all goes well, you will see Axis Pedals in the shop by the first quarter of 2006.

So if you guys and gals can hold on to your horses, wait for my updates.....

:D

Drumzfreak,

Thanks for your encouragement. I appreciate that kind thoughts. Yes indeed, the local drumming community have been very supportive. What drum shop will it be if no drummers wants to hang out in and around. That i have to bow my head and say a BIG Thank you to all who are supporting my vision and cause.
:D :D :D :D

have you guys seen the TRICK pedals on advertisements in the drum magazines this month? simply jaw-dropping... its like a japanese flower arrangement, beauty in simplicity.

and based on the insanely good reviews about all of TRICK drumkits and gears, it would really be killer to see some of them in Singapore... except for the cost. 8O
