May i noe how much the respective pedals costs? i been tinking of getting one bass pedal wif 1 of the epad! bass practice pads..

wat r drumheads? pardon me for my ignorance..

also how much does the spinology book cost? or issit rentable??!!(hee..)

wat r the futz exercise pedals? is it the same as any bass pedals?

also i would like to ask is Tama iron cobra gd? wat abt chrome cobra?

regards

I know that Axis AL-2 (doubles) are SGD$1135 in normal aluminum finish and SGD$1200 with classic black.

Drumheads aka drum skin aka the film of plastic you strike (can be used to describe the resonant side too).

I didn't like the feel of the dualist, quite heavy imho, so didn't ask.

Futz excersice pedals good ultra portable replacement for practicing footwork. Not particularly used for playing instruments.

Iron Cobras feel OK, chrome ones are just tacky. A lot of other ppl highly recommend Pearl's Eliminators over Iron Cobras.

LOL... Including shipping to Sg??
Also, must check if it's the older model or not, the newer Axis doubles comes with beefier universal joints on the connecting rods.

yeah. i mean these pedals are as expensive as they could get. this price is reasonable..if u get online, include other incurred expenses like shipping/handling, roughly 900+-. For a retailer to bring in such a product, to price it below S$1.2K is already a favour. older model? well yes im talkin abt the revised model.

But one thing which baffles me, the euro ones cost much more. Ard 600eur..Now that is overkill. Not that it is some european pride or material, the pedals look the same & have the USA emblem.

wow..thats astronomical. online price is USD500+-

eliminators over cobras? hell yeah!

dude you convert the currency plus your shipping like what gutturalpiss said and add your shipping time and other cost that maybe be added onto and see if its worth it.

wow.. Axis pedals costs a bomb!... but since quite a number says eliminators is better than iron cobras.. may i noe how much it costs?

one more qn: is it feasible to buy the bass practice epads! for practice??

flik:
Some people swear by Iron Cobra while others the Eliminators. There are also those who love their Yamaha pedals. You got to try each pedal yourself before judging which is better for you, as each pedal has its own characteristics and feel.

As for price, the Elims are around $500+, I think. Can ask shred5 about it. He bought Elims recently :)

there is this insane drummer who doesnt state what pedal he uses. he only mentions a yamaha setup excluding triggers & cymbals. so im assuming the 240bpm 16th bass notes come frm a pair of yamaha pedals. now thts madness.

Cant actually compare prices from continent to continent. Jus like cymbals, prices tend to fluctuate from region to region wif no transparency and esp. for imported brands, tats why, for example, the Italian-made UFIP or Swiss-based Paiste cymbals cost a bomb in the US while in other regions, sometimes Zildjian and Sabian cost jus as high as Paiste after they are imported in.

Ya, actually pricing wise depends on currency rates. For DW, if at time of ordering and payment, if US currency is up, then we'll pay more. Same as european equipments. For Swiss-Paiste, if francs is up against SGD, we'll pay more and you guys will definitely pay higher at the store.

sidetrack, if terrorists bomb france tmr, we buy paistes? bomb the countries respectively, buy their brands?

just kidding.

so does anyone knows the actual price of a duallist?? im really keen on getting one of those trigger pedals. other pedals including the Sonor Giant Step pedals?? Does nigel bring them in?? im sorry about this but i am not able to be physically there to talk to nigel the owner of drums resources as i am really really busy preparing for my prelims and O levels... thanks in advance:D

Hey everyone.. THis is rather URGENT and so please do help me in any way u can.. If u are visiting drums resource in excelsior anytime soon, can u please check for me the actual price they are selling the pedals away?? There is a dude from USA got is selling a brand new piece for about 500 dollars singapore dollars including shipping and insurance. And is there any other places in Singapore selling this twin effect double pedals?? thanks in advance...

If tats the case, then u'd be better off gettin tat pedals from tat yankee dude cos a first-hand model and especially imported in wun be as cheap as wat u mentioned.
