one more qn: is it feasible to buy the bass practice epads! for practice??
It's good to have something to practice on, for me, I use a cloth type laptop bag with magazines inside.

Rebound is totally dead, which is good.
So in the end, it'll just be my technique being worked on... instead of using rebound as a crutch.

so does anyone knows the actual price of a duallist?? im really keen on getting one of those trigger pedals. other pedals including the Sonor Giant Step pedals?? Does nigel bring them in?? im sorry about this but i am not able to be physically there to talk to nigel the owner of drums resources as i am really really busy preparing for my prelims and O levels... thanks in advance:D
Sonor has a distributor located in Eunos.
I remember taking a Giant Step brochure from there back in around 2001...

Do speak with Nigel when you can.
Of course, prepare well for your exams first. There's don't need to rush about it.
I doubt DR will be disappearing anytime soon.

I've seen folks in the Netherlands complaining of Axis costing them €800... =O

Anyway, Axis and Trick Pro V-1 (I believe they're so much sexXxieah than Axis too LOL) pedals are regarded as boutique equipment... lol

At least understand that air-craft grade aluminum (al 6061-t6) are very expensive to procure and machine.
And besides, they dont' have mass production facilities based in numerous countries with varying (sometimes questionable) quality check controls like Yamaha.

Also, would you treat thousand dollar pedals like how this kid treats his drums?

Don't want kids like him "sodomising" great pedals now would we?
Guess not for both questions.

eugen3,

Hiya dude! Thanks for coming by and thanks for your compliments. Thats a morale booster and definately an encouragement.

I am pleased to know that you are happy and that's the least that i can do for you. Like i said before, "How can one buy any product that he or she cannot try for themselves to make the buying decision."

Hope to be serving you soon! :D

Hi All!

How have you all been?? I have been very busy for the past few months right up till now, so I have not been able to be online and chatting with you guys. I hope to be chatting with you all more.

Anyone one wants some updates? Here goes .....

1.) I have become Mapex Drums Dealer in Singapore. Shipment has just arrived and soon all of you will have a chance to see them (all models), try them out and of course own one. :D

When you buy Mapex Drumkit, not only just the colour but the power of choice is in your hands to choose the configuration, color of lugs and tension rods, what drumheads you want to be put on your kit. (certain conditions apply)

2.) To serve you all better, I have gotten an assistant to man the shop while I am on the run outside during consultations, projects and works. She is still under training so you guys dun go too hard bombarding her with all the technical jargons and stuffs.

3.) The buzz has been going around and much excitment and anticipation around the clubbing, pubbing and playing scene, is on the opening of Vivocity and St. James Powerhouse.

I have been approached to look for local bands who wants to be in the gigging scene. This project is for a new club in Vivocity, on the side near St. james Powerhouse, seeks for a resident (paid gig) and about 2 to 3 showcase bands on rotation schedule (non paid).

We are keeping the genre of music open for the moment, that means every band can apply for an audition. To apply, sign up at Drums Resources Music Place in Excelsior Shopping Centre #B1-13, from now till 23rd Sept (Sat). Please prepare a photograph of your band members for your application. (photos will not be returned)

Pass the word along to your friends and lets do this together. Hear from you guys soon.

Ciao! :D

cool. hey about playing at pubs. are there age limits to play in pubs? my band really wants to like perform abit after the exams. but are wondering if there is age limit

Hey nigel... Thanks for letting me try out the MAPEX drums and also the duallist pedals... Yeah i agree with you is that you do sell something which u believe in and that it would inevitably help drummers inprove in a way or another.. Kudos man for being the Authorized Distributor for MAPEX drums.. I'll be slowly saving up for the nifty pedals... Thanks once again for the great customer service!! I felt bad not buying something but i did'nt had any cash that day, or else i would've bought a brush or something.. hee

if u have any electronic kits for sale do let me know yeah im looking for one which have dual zone pads and dual zone cymablas with choke... and at least a TD-6V brain or higher.. the TD3 is quite limited lah tried it out already...

once again, thanks!!!

Hey Nigel, Ariel here - I don't think you'd remember but I dropped in a week or so ago inquiring about your in-house drum instructor...

Well anyway, I was just wondering if you carry DW pedals (more specifically the 5000 series) and if you do, how much do they cost? 8)
