My vote is with seekz..

which reminds me his looking for a talented/versatile guitarist to do a recording for his products.

heh, theres prolly only couple couple of them(actively doing the thang) whom we can prolly count with both hands, doing it as part time job. Think all their names will be mentioned in here sooner or later

in order to be more effective and productive thread, we shud look at what we like to see, in term of serivce, products which might not be available yet, but they might be able to give us.

for a start(nothing to to with their service, but on consumer point of view), i hope there be more respect for the modders, builders in term of not going to them asking for any mods, clone of any other makers when the products still in production and hoping to get something for a cheaper price...

respect the pedals, respect the builder!

heh, unless if the maker themselves advertised openly, able to clone others stuff for a cheaper price, then i will shut my mouth

Agree bro, that will be a very interesting topic to talk abt in this thread as well......what we would like to see in the future so that our consumer opinions will be taken into consideration keke.....i guess it will really help them in building stuff in the future!

agreed, but do keep in mind that they are doing all this with their own cash.

they are not sponsored afterall.
Most of the time, they just cater to our needs.
almost anything, given if it is possible in the first place.

you just have to have to money

imho, while its goot for the people buying, to buy it at a cheaper price, its really insulting to go to a builder to ask them for other people ideas/mod to mod a pedal or build something.

afterall, any self respecting builders/makers would prolly like to be recognised for what they can do, have, then to be always in the light of others..

The problem, imho doesnt lies with the builders/modders, but more on the behaviour of us, those who are buying.

it aint right or wrong for some. But just that for me personally, i love effect pedals too much and have a certain respect to effect pedals, builders etc.

i would give my 2 cents worth. (pls do not hate, these are the only pedal builders/guitar enthusiasts' that ive worked with so far..)

goosonique - well, half my damn board are his pedals, what more can i say? love this dude to death! if i have a choice to have my own personal guitar guru /innovator /techie, it will be this fella without a shadow of a doubt. ( still waiting for the new stuff bro!! )

worth mentioning would be edder and blueark.
edder for his amazing power supply (which sadly has to be retired cos of use and abuse! but its been kept due to sentimental value, this being my first ever "toy" made by a local pedal builder!)

and blueark for helping me do that awesome rehousing of a fab chorus and fab flange!

at the end of the day, local builders are still essential, in many ways. i would not have discovered my own guitar tone and approach had it not been for these beautiful souls, who are more than willing to help out a lousy guitarist like me. ha ha ha. plus the conversations are awesome! more c*ck n b*ll please!

long live local pedal builders!!!

heh, So far the name mentioned, in no order of sequence or ranking:

Seekz(Seekz), Mike(standard values), Edder(Om Lab), Blueark(blueark), Goose(Goosoniqueworx)

And to add another cool one, imho, Randolf(embryo)!

Its a joy talking about pedals and music with him. Totally humbling experience for me. Love to see a Embryo effect with all sort of extras/features in it in the near future!

I don't own a single locally made pedal. But I've heard a few (mainly Seekz and Edder's), and to be honest, the nicest I've come across is Edder's Sasharara OD... It's really something. Still waiting for that high-gain distortion he's supposed to launch this year though...

I'd like to hear Goose's pedals too... No chance yet.

Only dude who ever modded my pedal (old Crybaby wah wah) some years back with a true bypass switch & cool led light for the on /off position = edder

This must have been like maybe 5-6 years ago or so ...

I realise everytime threads like this comes out, I keep getting enquiries about mods and repairs.

*Dodgy PR mode on*
While I truly value your trust with my PAST services, I don't do mods or repairs anymore due to time constraints and I'm truly focusing only on building pedals. Thank you.
*Dodgy PR mode off*

Fact is I'd rather be channel surfing and drinking beer! hur hur hur.... Really lah... I donch do mods or repairs and also please don't get offended if I don't reply your pms cos I'm also not a call center for information. It pisses the hell out of me when I bother to type a whole lotta stuff for pms and I don't even get a basic "Thanks!".... kids these days... no manners.

sorry to sidetrack a little but does anyone know who offers the modding of led light into wah pedal like the above post? and also the changing of led lights.
