In this day and age when a country can be destroyed completely, not invaded, an army has its limits.

Still, I think scrapping compulsory national service isn't as stupid an idea as what this woman said. I hope her kids don't turn out racist, because there are obvious stereotypical links based on how she detests anything she perceives to be smelly.

40K active NSmen, 350K operationally-ready men that can take to arms when mobilized.

Our soldiers are smart, thinking soldiers. We have good leadership, good coordination, good integration between the 3 main forces. We are well-trained, well prepared and always wary. We also have strong ties with many nations.

We have state-of-the art weaponry and technology. And.. a whole lot more stuff that we either cannot talk about here or simply don't know about.

Well, I say we're quite a force to be reckoned with.

I'd have to agree with this. our active force may be small but our reserve force is considerable. the size of our operationally ready force is more than just a deterent for potential invaders. most people just don't realise how large our force actually is.

I'm quite confident that we can hold our own if the unfortunate day comes when we have to take up arms to defend our country.
