Well the heightened security explains the damn long jam at woodlands road yesterday...

Was on 961 to Woodlands when all of a sudden jam out of nowhere! And mind you this was all the way out till Kranji MRT... Roads filled with trucks not moving! Can't imagine how the chaos is over at the causeway.

i wish the media and the authorities would give us PROPER clear information on how he escaped. All they do is fcking telling us that he was supposed to wait for his family for a visit, decided to go toilet and POOF! hes gone. through where?! the roof? toilet window? front door? all these details the public has the right to know but yet all they say is he went to the toilet and it ends there. EXTREMELY frustrating

Partly, these mad suicide bombers are part of a large scale, ongoing operation by terrorists in the Middle East, against the Western world. You can actually compare them to those Japanese kamikaze pilots who sacrificed their lives diving into those US frigates and warships.

To the kamikaze pilots and suicide bombers, they are doing the 'right thing' and helping their countries and their religious leaders achieve their goals and win their wars but to those who ordered those commands - the poor sods are just part of the operation to constantly terrorise and destroy. It's all part of a military strategy.

yes with all due respect, the Japanese Kamikaze targeted military targets as it was during the war and they were defending their country as a last resort.. I don't think any Kamikaze pilots smashed into a public place with innocent people or children to get their point across.

These idiotic terrorist bastards are cowards who are freaking narrow minded with a huge ass inferiority complex...

But i say again, someone should be held accountable for this cock-up, Singaporeans deserve to know. This will scare off existing and potential investors in this region and will also give other wanna-be terrorists food for thought.

if the media and authorities informed the public how he escape
other detainees would have a similar idea,during family visits,such thing would occur again

how many terrorists would you like to escape?

information might be passed down from family members to detainess during visiting time...similar ideas might prop up

best that we wait..do no impaired the investigations that are ongoing

no system is 100% foolproof...as of this moment,we could comment and make do with our conspiracy theories but the officers involved in this incident..likelihood of losing their jobs..other detainees are not able to see their family members

the civil servants involved..they do have a life..some are looking forward to the weekend to spent time with the family...etc etc...planning to go down to guitar clinic tommorow..

well i d say just tell us how he escaped, but before that solve the problem of this loophole. I dont think it takes more than an hour or two to think of a solution. To me its as simple as having an officer with the detainee ALWAYS. yes, even when he is shitting, the officer stands there staring at him. Simple solution. or those half doors where the face can be seen in the toilet. Of course im not saying that im the best problem solver the world has ever seen, neither am i saying that the authorities are not doing anything. they are trying what they perceive to be their best. But i REALLY feel that the public should know the details of his escape.

get a Police scholarship
join the Force and revamp the system as a Senior Officer
