Shredcow: you talk like you've released 10 albums and all of them has been at number 1 on the sales chart at one point of a time or another. With so much talk, release a number 1 top selling album and shut us shredcow haters up once and for all.

But as it is... i don't see/hear any truely outstanding metal acts getting hyped up for the world...

Check out impiety, they have been out of this hole and played along side big names like rotting christ and anorexia nervosa.
but you my friend, have always been sitting in your room being your bed room guitarist and will forever be stuck in your room.

let metale listner unite, form a group that goes to old folks home or orphanage to help out. Importantly, must wear our favourite metale bands attire, putting corpse paint etc when doing community work. To show the world we care, share and love doing volunteer work even though we look evil. Lets not try to out do or out listen metale or despise other form of music thats not metale at all.

dude...Golddigger was catchy but still,metal shouldn't change their image just to fit the society...its rather metal should CHANGE the society to learn more about them...but as the way things ae now..the metal society in singapore isn't going that bad...i see tons of gigs for metal dudes...and eventhough its all in crammed up space...thats where we build brotherhood....the brotherhood OF METAL!!!

but a more spacious area would be greatly appreciated...and more ads..on tvs and radios...these medias should really put up more ads for local acts rather than put "selling ur house?" ads...make a special classified ads where musicians can find gigs....just a thought...but i guess SOFT is already doing this :wink:


and i want to live in Finland speak suomi...and make suomi-core or something

I kinda like where local metal is at...everybody aiming and trying real hard to crack the world at some point...not bothered with whether we get played on local radio cause quite honestly its not going to do anything at all for us...I am glad that metal bands know that there is more to the world than just the Straits Times of any of its subsidiaries and that the world perhaps just doesn’t think much of what the Straits Times has to say…its an attitude I like...

I meet metal bands on practically a daily basis...make my way to as many gigs as my working schedule allows me and I see plenty of bands that can take on the world...and we have a proven track record of local metal acts making a dent in the international scene...and anyone who says otherwise just doesn't know the local metal scene...or perhaps should get out of their bedroom more often....

the metal scene here is really impressive..the kind of attitude that plays from the heart instead of caring whether they get in mags or not...

SLIPKNOT is one of the worse bands ever to play in singapore.!

Slipknot are great performers, they gave a great concert, and i didn't hear any complaints from people at the concert.

Korn, Deftones, Disturbed, Static-X, Dope? IMO, they're more boring to me..

Pantera is gone, and i would love to see Mudvayne come to Singapore.. Tool is so-so to me..
