love pedals

not many people here know what they are or even own a lovepedal, let alone the white dragon. i think you should head down to TGP.

yeah if i remember correctly its an OD but i have no opinions, never heard it ever, not even a soundclip.

The white dragon is a Fuzz, hybrid utilising both silicon and germanium chips(according to my research, but don't quote me on that), its a super duper versatile fuzz, like fuzz meets distortion kinda pedal..3 knobs(volume, drive, blend)

This is the rough description from lovepedal, heheh

Custom blend control fades from Classic High Gain Fuzz Face to MKII, OD, Distortion, BOOST, Dallas RangeMaster ect..
handpicked / matched, TRANSISTORS, OC76, Internal voltage trimmer, True bypass

Im getting one soon , an ultra rare Black dragon(brand new) direct from Sean, will post up pics of it when it arrives next week.Or maybe clips...Should be something like this.

Why did I do it? She dared me to, and that is why I have to sell away some of my other prized pedals.

Oh well, sorry Goose, may still want your fuzz once my domestic issues are sorted out.Heeheh

snuff, when its here please arrange for a fuzz shootout!

I wanna know where my Vishudda will stand amongst ahem.... "GIANTS".

sure man no problem, I'll ask guitar virtuoso Nanoshred if he'll like to do it since he got lots of experience with youtube and all :D

Actually, would make sense to ask a more... fuzz orientated player no?

But I suppose a good player's a good player and the good player will know what to do to showcase/compare for the good audience.

lovepedal kicks ass. the eternity sounds better than a marshall.

keep remarks like that at the TGP kiddy playground ...not here !

Yes iam flamin you

but then i realized ...why bother ....go children go and get it

Heheh,

Ok lah , who are you talking about? :D Should I ask that dude from the East with the bad fashion sense but brilliant guitarmanship and ahem* great fuzzy experience??

Or is it you just want to lay your paws on it and diss it in all its overhyped glory? :D

Simi dude from the east?!? Am I that blatant?!

No lah, just asking. I don't play with fuzz btw... can't really work with it, and I've only touched the tip of the ice-berg: only played with so little fuzz boxes. Thought of asking goose loh, he's the dude who keeps on tweaking fuzz circuits (since there's so MANY fuzz tones out there) and what not - would be cool to hear his take.

Fuzz is something... I'm afraid to touch. Really afraid. Its like amps to me. I don't want to go there - enough trouble with plain ole dirt pedals.

I dunno if its over-hyped. The techies have their PoV and many valid points as to how Sean operates, talks, behaves, makes his pedals, his business practices and so on... but there are people who swear by them.

Lovepedal - I'm curious about.

Landgraff - I'm really curious about.

actually the problem nowadys ...kids want their fuzz to sound like an overdrive !!

I have seen a few good boutique fuzz changed hand here as the initial owner not knowing how to operate one ...all to the advantage for the fella who buys it off like way cheaper !!

well certainly I would say that L***pedal customer service is quite erm, well, I'd rather not say here.

Well I can't wait for it to arrive, and yes I do not have much experience with Fuzz, Never liked Fuzz till I tried Goose's particular one & Edder's during TAGS 07 in fact, but the aesthetic appeal of this dragon was too great to resist lah hahah

I may put it up on sale if I can't see myself being a convert, but hey, whatever it is, its still a collectible.

The legendary fuzz circuits its supposed to be imitating is very intriguing to me, thats why I jumped the gun on this.

Oh well :D

The dragon is a hybreed ...you will have a silicon pushin a germ to insanity!
You might like it for that jimi thang e wicked lead work ....sit with it for bit ya and please use it with a tube amp >>> thats what they are made for !!!!!

Ol' school Fuzz does NOT like SS amps ...period !

Gotta note, those legendary fuzz circuits? They have a tone range, each of them.

Now, I don't know how Lovepedal does it but I wonder, which area of the tone range can the Dragon emulate for each classic circuit? I mean, if its like, oh, i get the sound of an MKII... does that mean a range of MKII-like sounds? Or just a narrow range/single sound?

I've had experiences with 2 fuzzes that sweep between 2 classic circuits, and had a range of tones available while in either circuit "mode/setting". They were the Tonefactor Hellbilly (DAMN i regret letting this go) and Huckleberry.
