you call a 2-1 defeat a mauling? no wonder you support arse-smells. as your teams song goes, ""ONE-NIL to the arsenal" must be a landslide victory in your teams books. but i understand where you are coming from though. It must be hard for you to support a team for so many decades & not once seen your team lift the European Cup. Drop by Anfield someday, at least you can see the real deal sitting in our trophy showcase instead of having to stare at your runner's up medals. ;-)

Splendid performance from Torres, Benayoun, Aurelio, Lucas and Mascherano(alright, his silly challenge at the end...)!

Rooney + Berbatov(Owen later) were ineffective. And we won without Gerrard. Hooolah!

Lucas and Mascherano were impressive despite criticisms of Lucas in recent weeks. Shows that Lucas is able to step up to challenges!
