we CAN beat anyone in europe if only rafa doesn't take our opponent lightly.
playing a guy who just come back from injury in midfield alongside lucas is not a very inspiring move to the other players.
football is an unpredictable game. wigan beat the high flying cheatse?! manures beaten by what that team name again :twisted:?! 7 mins of injury time added on when it should be 4?! arse thrashed everton in their opening game but got owned by shitty :twisted:.
aahhh bpl, will miss all the action soon.

Cheatsea 2 0 Liverpool.
well balance match and a good fight from both team.
can see the only difference between us n cheatsea are the bench warmers.
we just don't have a big quality squad.
also the past 2 games, it boiled down to just 1 player that can make a difference.
in cl, it was aurelio in mid that cost us the game in the 1st half although we did good in the 2nd but luck is not on our side. same goes for cheatsea match, reira playing on the left instead of benayoun. he came on just a few mins and already get the other players involve more in attacks. and we actually have more bodies inside cheatsea penalty box to cause them confusion! too many players loitering outside the box are not good enough.

Yes, Benayoun on the left and Babel on the right. Their willingness to run straight at defenders and dribble will cause defenders loads of trouble.
If we can't play through the centre, play along the flanks!
Riera just isn't playing as well as he should. Remember last season? He was great but a disappointment so far.
Kuyt should partner Torres instead and kick Lucas out of the squad! 4-2-3-1 can't work without Alonso!

our performance is not mid table on that day, it's like watching newcastle attempt to stay in the top flight football!
anyway glad that rafa did not make a big issue out of it. he can blame the officials, the idiotic balloon boy, ask thefa for apology for sending in officials that doesn't know their rulebook, blame the ref for not fit enough for the job :twisted:, instead he know that it was the team who let the fans down that time.

No improvement from the last match.
Stevie G lasted only for a few mins before he was sub.
1st goal from Lyon thanks to our rooted defenders when they took their corner kick.
Same ol' mistake. Same ol' performance.
There's just no creativity in the team!
The only players that look good tonight is Kelly.
He can teach skertel on how to make a decent clearance.
