Benayoun is a superb player. :D He's really really good. Has the pace, has the vision, and he scores!

Hmm, I think it's confirmed that we will have Standard Chartered on our jerseys! :O

Standard Chartered?!
Better if it is Coca-Cola!

Benayoun is a good player but rafa doesn't use him that much cos he never listen to him !! rafa prefer players to stay outside the box and not involve in the attack but with benayoun, he always find space. with him playing, opposition team don't have the luxury of putting 2 or 3 defenders on torres.

that's what spain did. torres always kena marked by more than 1 defender and this gives players like villa spaces to exploit. in liverpool, only benayoun are able to do that.

Reds announce largest sponsorship

scstory3.jpg

Liverpool have announced the biggest commercial deal after agreeing a four-year sponsorship with Standard Chartered Bank.
how big? not sure but it seems that the new management is doing a better job than rick parry.

Liverpool football club announced late Sunday a sponsorship deal with British bank Standard Chartered, reportedly worth 80 million pounds over four years.

The deal starting in July 2010 was the "largest commercial agreement in Liverpool's history," a statement on the club's website said.

Media reports said the deal was worth some 20 million pounds (US$ 33.2 million) per season, which would equal the most lucrative ever in English football, but this could not be confirmed.

AOS.
torres the real deal and he make it looks like scoring goal is simple.

all's good but looking at both our cb is just like watching the NYJC football team.
school boys defending from carra at times and skertel will find a way to screw up a simple clearance.

REDS CRASH TO EURO DEFEAT

Liverpool's hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout stage have suffered a blow after they slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Fiorentina.

Liverpool did not manage a shot on target in a disappointing first period and although they fought back after the break, Fiorentina were not going to let a prized victory escape their grasp.

Benitez's response to the loss of Javier Mascherano with a hamstring injury was to recall Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio to his side.

Aurelio has had only a Carling Cup run-out against Leeds after a summer knee operation, and he was be used in a midfield role against the Italians, who are fourth in Serie A.

this is a good wake-up call for rafa - never underestimate your opponent.
gerrard playing in mid gives lucas and the back 4 some good cover. without him or masch, the back 4 will indeed struggle.

our defending this season hasn't been good. school boy error from carra in almost every game and shaky partnership with skertal. our attacking players can't go on scoring in every game and if we let in stupid goals again and again, this is what will happen.

next up is against cheatsea. they lost to wigan in their last match. they certainly have players that can hurt us if we defend like we did against hull and they won't certainly let torres run free like he did against hull as well.

RAFA ATE PRATA KOSONG TWO - WITH EXTRA CURRY
 btw, lfc v arse for league cup, arse can take that match. it will be good for wenger cos if i'm not mistaken, that is 1 of 2 cups he still hasn't won with arse .

also not surprising, we will play cheatsea AWAY this weekend ... right after a CL match .

mmmm pool vs chelski -

wah cannot wish well for either team...

HERE'S TO A NICE BORING 0-0 DRAW!
